It's easy to sit back and point the finger and pontificate about the problems in the Canadian private security industry. The difficulty is making an effort to improve the industry. As a problem solver my focus is the need to improve on health & safety in the security industry by delivering consultation and training services to security stakeholders. I'm passionate about this...indeed some would describe me as a "shit disturber". I'm more than that, I'm a fixer!

You are a shit disturber Jim, but throughout history it has always been the shit disturbers and those that had the balls to go against the flow that got things changed for the better. I would never be involved in the security industry in BC or Canada again. Unarmed alarm response, no OC spray, no cuffs, bad communication, company owners with little or no integrity or regard for guards it is just ridiculous. Here in TN alarm responders are armed, (after screening and training equal to or better than the police) cuffs are carried, OC spray, batons, cars with lights, etc. I fully expect my comments to bring a barrage of anti-American gun toting,comments but here is the bottom line NO DEAD GUARDS HERE. any way thats my rant for today lol, keep fighting the good fight my friend.
